Information on the application of Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC.

No.: 08805784, (hereinafter referred to as "AKBL") informs about the implementation of Regulation of the European Parliament and Council No. 2016/679 of 27. 4. 2016 on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter also referred to as the "Regulation") in the sense of Article 13 et seq. Regulation.

AKBL informs that any information obtained in connection with the performance of advocacy is protected by law within the framework of attorney confidentiality and cannot be released to a third party without the consent of the client or potential client. Any information communicated to AKBL, including in the form of an inquiry, contacting AKBL, etc., becomes protected in this way. AKBL reserves the right to assess such information in accordance with legal regulations. In the case of clients or potential clients, any personal data is handled in a manner that results from the contractual relationship between AKBL, or that results from legal and status regulations.

If AKBL in the sense of the Regulation is the controller of personal data in connection with the above, it processes and stores data in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) Regulations for contractual purposes.

The personal data of the client are processed to the extent of: name, surname, telephone number, e-mail, date of birth, place of residence and possibly other data provided by the client for the purpose of providing legal services.

Personal data will be processed for the time necessary to fulfill the contract. Keeping the lawyer's file, or the period during which the data will not be shredded is at least 5 years in accordance with state regulations from the end of the contract, unless otherwise agreed with the client. In such a case, the data is kept in accordance with the necessary period specified in the contract. Other obligations to preserve part of the file, e.g. obligations for tax purposes, etc., are not affected by this.

The client has the right to ask AKBL to provide information on the processing of his personal data, he also has the right to correct inaccuracies in relation to the data, or has the right to additions, the client has the right to delete data, object to processing, request restriction of processing in accordance with legal and status regulations and further has the right to obtain the provided data or to transfer them in accordance with legal and status regulations. If the client believes that his rights have been violated, it is possible to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, however, such a complaint does not affect AKBL's obligation to maintain attorney confidentiality. And thus also the right to refer to § 21 paragraph 1 of the Act No. 85/1996 Coll., of the Law on Advocacy, as amended, and to refuse any cooperation under the fulfillment of legal conditions with a reference to confidentiality.
